• One Gingerbread House per participant. Group entries
are allowed with one team leader named.
• All Gingerbread Houses must be placed on a ½” or ¾”
heavy cardboard base no larger than 18”x18”
• No artificial materials can be present in or on the
house itself. All Gingerbread Houses must be 100%
edible.
• All Gingerbread Houses must be in the form of a
house. Houses can be no taller than 24”
• Non-edible decorations, like paint, ribbon, etc., CAN
be used to decorate the base only.
• Houses must be delivered fully assembled. No on-site
assembling (other than minor repairs) will be
permitted.
• No names or advertising will be allowed on the
Gingerbread House, display or table prior to judging.
After judging has been completed and names and/or
awards have been announced, competitors may place
business cards on display.
*Professional/Commercial is open to all adults employed as a culinary professional such as chefs,
bakers, teachers, cake decorators; open to Bakeries and businesses in the baking industry.
