Girl Power 2026
Will be held on Saturday, March 28th, 2026
at Monte Vista Middle School
Girl Power is a one-day conference for 6th and 7th grade girls in San Jacinto Valley schools sponsored by Soroptimist San Jacinto-Hemet Valley. The day includes a series of speakers, activities and presentations to provide girls with opportunities to learn, grow and succeed.
The objectives of the conference are to:
Teach girls about career choices, available educational programs
Introduce girls to networking with women and girls of all ages
Encourage girls to plan for their future by learning to set goals and objectives
Demonstrate how to chart a career path from a broad range of choices
Share ways to promote a healthy and diverse life and community involvement
Promote the development of women as leaders in our society
